As the first full-length song on the CD, I was trying to go for something upbeat. I wanted to capture a lot of energy in the song. It certainly feels to me like I did, though the listener will have to be the final judge. One or two people who are familiar with the material I wrote for a previous band have asked me when I was going to do something more with tapped harmonic techniques. Well...here it is. The tapped harmonics are in the first and third verse. The second verse features some bizarre right hand tapping that took a while to get right. It sounds cool though; it was worth the work. This has been one of my favorites on the disc.
